Sara Armstrong is a graduate of the Blanche Macdonald Centre Fashion Design Program, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia Studio Studies from the University of Saskatchewan and is the Program Director of Fashion Design at Blanche Macdonald Centre. Launching her self-titled line SARARMSTRONG in 2012, Miss Armstrong has garnered international attention for her gender non-conforming clothes from the likes of: Vogue UK, Glamour UK and Elle Italia, Mexico, China and Canada.
Sara’s intuitive and uncompromising attention to detail has made her an extremely sought-after costume designer for some of Canada’s most prolific dance and theater companies as well as highly acclaimed film and television productions. Miss Armstrong teaches the most senior level technical classes to our BMC design students.
